After launching the beta version of YouTube Create last fall, Google is expanding its offerings into more markets where users can create both short films and longer videos on their mobile devices.
At first, the application was released on Android in the US and a few other targeted markets, but it’s now accessible in over twelfth of countries worldwide. The availability of Create in 21 countries has been extended by this step.
Create is a platform that provides video creators with specialized tools to create videos for free while on the go.
Announced during YouTube’s Create event last September, the tool aims to solve specific challenges creators face, including video editing and using creative tools like stickers, GIFs and effects.
TikTok, a video editing app that includes creative tools and AR and AI filters, is also the target of the app’s criticism as it appeals to non-technical creators who want to experiment with video production but lack expertise in video Editing.
Create provides users with the ability to upload clips, split and trim videos, use effects, and access royalty-free music.
These copyrighted songs will also sync the song’s rhythm to the music videos, just like on TikTok.
The use of a denoising model in Audio Cleanup, despite its name, helps to improve the audio quality of saved clips on smartphones by reducing background and ambient noise. The integrated dubbing engine also includes automatic and editable subtitles, with various options for text styling.
When users are done with their edits, they can publish them directly to YouTube with just a tap.
The company aims to expand the market of video editing tools that are typically reserved for YouTube creators by introducing a set of tools specifically designed for this purpose. For example, even though TikTok has a rich library of built-in effects, many creators still turn to Byte Dance’s other creative app, CapCut, to prepare their TikTok videos.
Those who enjoy posting to YouTube can access a comparable feed on Create.
The launch of Create will take place in various markets such as Argentina, Australia and Brazil. Additionally from today, the service will be available in Finland for Hong Kong, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand (excluding Spain), Taiwan, Thailand, and
The first countries to launch it were the United States, Germany France & the UK; India, Indonesia, South Korea and Singapore.
