Iris Apfel, a Fashion Designer and Businesswoman, Has Died at the Age of 102 !

American fashion designer and businesswoman Iris Apfel died at the age of 102 at her home in Palm Beach, Florida.
The confirmation of the news was made on her social media accounts early Saturday morning, and her representative referred to it as “extraordinary.

No specific cause of death was identified.

Born in New York in 1921, Apfel was originally an interior designer and became a public figure through a contract that allowed her and her husband Carl to advise on White House interiors for six presidents.
