A temporary stadium is under construction in the United States for the 2024 World Cup

After being selected as a co-host of the T20 World Cup in November 2021, the United States will host the tournament for the first time ever.

Dallas was designated as the location for Grand Prairie by the International Cricket Council, while Broward County in Florida and Nassau County within New York.


The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium’s proposed design for a modular stadium in New York City was announced by the ICC on January17, 2024, with inauguration expected to occur by May.
Presently, the United States has at least 34 cricket stadiums (including both parks and grounds in general), of which two are certified by the International Cricket Council; 24 local cricket grounds are being used by local or Minor League Cricket teams and Five other stadiums are also in the works.


According to the ICC, the T20 World Cup will take place in 2024 in West Indies and the United States. Perhaps if the United States is hosting the ICC, it could make cricket even bigger and will establish the USA as a major player in the world of cricket.


Six stadiums in the West Indies and the rest in the United States will host Super Eight matches and knockout part will be played in the West Indies.
The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will feature 20 teams.


The teams will be split into 4 groups, with each group consisting of 5 teams. Teams that have been qualified will be split into 2 groups of 8 members. The semi-finals and final will be the next stage for the teams.

Registration for trips and tour packages is now open and accessible through ICC platforms.
